Day 1: Our adventure starts… Welcome to Ecuador!!!

The long awaited day finally arrived… We are so excited! Our guide is waiting for you in the airport to start this amazing adventure in Ecuador.

Day 2: Discovering the Indigenous and Spanish roots of the city crossed by the Equator line

Day 2: Discovering Quito between gargoyles and traditional games and sweets Do you know that Quito was the first Cultural Heritage of the Humanity? Today, we will have the opportunity to discover magic places, walking on its street, churches and squares. The adrenaline will be an ingredient of this visit. Cheer up to discover why?

Day 3: Raptors birds, culture and nature

After breakfast, we will take private transportation to go to the north of Ecuador, to the Imbabura province, well known as the province of lakes. Our first stop will be Parque El Condor, which is a rescue center of raptor birds. Its main goal is teaching about respect and admiration for this specie in danger of extinction through falconry. It will be exciting to see flying to these majestic birds and know about its behavior in wild. After that, we will go to Otavalo to visit the biggest indigenous market of South America, a great opportunity to admire the handicrafts made by the indigenous Otavaleños and if you want, you can buy some gifts for your loved ones. Finally, we will go to Cotacachi Cayapas Ecological Reserve to know Cuicocha Lake located inside the crater of the volcan of the same name. We are sure that you will fall in love.

Day 4: Going by train to Salinas, an Afro-Ecuadorian town

The Ecuadorian railway was built in the beginnings of the XX century to join Andes and Coast regions. It contributed to stimulate the commercial interchange and improve the country economy. This railway is considered the most difficult of the world because of Ecuador's geography. We will be witness of it, while crossed tunnels built with pick and shovel and bridges over very deep canyons. Let's go on board!

Day 5: Horsing by the Ecuadorian Andes

In the morning, we will visit a small town to know its history, its cultural legacy and the natural beauty that surround it. We will have a horse-riding to discover the outstanding landscapes located in the Imbabura volcano skirts. After that, we will taste traditional food while we share with an indigenous family.

Day 6: Adrenaline to the fullest!

It is moment to increase our adrenaline at the top! We will visit the biggest Eco-touristic Park of extreme sports of Ecuador. Here, we will have the opportunity to choose between exciting activities like Canopy, Rappel, Paintball, Climbing wall, hanging bridge, extreme swing. It will test our nerves while we enjoy the nature. You will love it!

Day 7: A cultural experience!

After breakfast, we will take our car to visit Pululahua, one of two active volcanoes inhabited around the world. Its impressive landscape will be the perfect framework to enjoy the “Pampamesa”, the indigenous tradition of shared the food gave by our Mother Earth (Pachamama). In the afternoon, we will go to Intiñan Museum to know, in an interactive way, about Pre-Inca indigenous groups and their astronomic knowledge that let them knew that these lands are crossed by the Equator line. After that, we will visit the Mitad del Mundo historical monument to take the iconic photo with one foot in the north hemisphere and the other in the south hemisphere. It will be a nice memory of Ecuador!

Day 8: Galapagos, a world natural treasure

In the morning, we will take a flight to visit one of the natural paradise more recognized around the world, The Galapagos Islands. Without any doubt, it is a magic destination that must be visited at least once in a life, and today is our day! Our naturalist guide will be waiting for us at our arrival to Baltra airport. The adventure starts since the beginning! Our first stop will let us know the famous giant tortoises who gave their name to the islands.

Day 9: Adventure in the enchanted islands!

The fun will be an important ingredient this day! In addition of enjoying the wonderful and unique landscape; we will have the opportunity to practice Stand-up-paddle in Academy Bay or Franklin Bay and Kayak in Garrapatero beach.

Day 10: The beauty of Santa Fe Island

This day we will visit Santa Fe Island, a small island located to the south-east of Santa Cruz Island. It is one of the oldest islands, a proof of it, are the stones found by scientists, which are 4 million years old. During our walking by the beach, we will see to the playful sea lions. We will also practice snorkeling in a picturesque turquoise lagoon to observe sea stars, colorful fishes and stingrays.

Day 11: Knowing the scientific importance of Galapagos Islands

We cannot leave the islands without visit the Charles Darwin Scientific Station. Here, we will know about the Galapagos Islands process of evolution and more about the species which live here and their scientific and biological importance. After that, we will take a flight to Quito, where we will spend our last night of this great trip.

Day 12: Going back home
